    A series of 4 professional development workshops that blend theory with practical applications, and provide an opportunity for women working or volunteering in the sport or physical activity sector to share their experiences, reflect on ideas, develop their skills, and build their networks.

    Sport 4 Life Cochrane & the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS) have partnered to deliver the Women in Sport Leadership Workshop Series.

    Creating Work-Life Balance

    For many women, balancing the demands of work, family, friends, and personal time is a challenge. This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to explore a variety of strategies to add more balance to their lives.

    About the program:

    Our Outdoor Adventure Program based on the goals and principles of the of the Canadian Physical Literacy & Long-Term Athlete Development model.

    Each session includes physical literacy games, agility/endurance skills, and navigation stations.

    •   It is super fun and engages the mind & body.
    •  Builds competence and confidence to be outside, for life.
    •  Games and obstacle courses are used to build agility.
    • Teaches navigation and map reading skills.
    • Helps children to connect with our natural environment. 
    •  Provides opportunities for decision making and independence. 
    • Gets everyone moving outside with a big smile, guaranteed!
